Here's how you know you're a parent:  You're wearing your baby in the backpack carrier, and he has no diaper on because he needs "nakey time" for incipient diaper rash, and he pees down your back, and then later when your husband comes home and takes over, you head to the coffee shop with your laptop without remembering the pee incident until you arrive, and then figure, "Oh, who cares, it's just baby pee."

In other news, last year at this time I was experiencing false labor about once every couple of days, was absolutely miserable, and couldn't bend over at the waist to save my life.  Which is to say, I far prefer having them on the outside than on the inside.
